Compound Choice:
Soft compound will be softer, more forgiving, and smoother underfoot. However, because it's a soft compound, it won't last as long and tends to wear out more quickly.
Mid compound will increase tire longevity, extending the time between tire changes. However, it won't be as forgiving underfoot and will have a more noticeable "edge" when carving.
